How to add a password to a link?

Adding a password to a link provides an extra layer of security, ensuring that only authorized users can access your shared content. Whether you’re sharing a document, a folder, or a custom page, follow these steps to password-protect your link.
Open the link form
From your dashboard, you can either:
- Create a new link by clicking on the Create link button
- Open an existing link by clicking on any row in the list
Add a password
In the link form, expand the Password protection card and enter your desired password in input field.
Click on Create Link or Save Changes
Remove a password
To remove a password protection from a link:
- Open the link edit page
- Expand the Password protection card
- Click on the Reset Password button
- Save changes
